Are Robots good or bad for employment

Most commentators bemoan the impending impact of robots. Forbes magazine commented 93% of investors say that artificial intelligence is going to destroy jobs, and smart robots are putting 10.5 million U.S. jobs at risk, according to one report.

Robots will take our jobs. Robots will put mankind out of work.

The demise of productivity led growth

When I was younger, growth was easy to achieve. We had a number of tail winds that helped the economy grow as a matter of course. We didn’t need to do much, just stay in business and the economy grew around us.

Now… not so much.
